A man writes, lives and loves in darkness. Fourteen years before, he was in a brutal car crash on the island of Lanzarote . In the accident, he not only lost his sight, he also lost Lena , the love of his life.
Performance driven films are always any interesting type of film, a film squarely set on one performance to carry a film. Broken Embraces is such a film.

With this it’s a shame that the script and pacing never tries to keep up with its lead, and with a series of un interesting characters the film drags, and is'nt that that moving or embracing.
